
On 2-4 February, 2012, Faculty of Economics and Business, Padjadjaran University, Indonesia hosted the 2nd Congress of the East Asian Association of Environmental and Resource Economics (EAAERE). The congress aims to provide a forum for the environmental and resource economists from East Asian countries to exchange their research findings and also for enhanced networking and collaboration.
The congress was attended by around 200 presenters and delegates from 16 countries in East Asia and beyond. Almost 100 papers covering the economics aspects of such issues as climate change, conservation, sustainable development, environment and development linkage and other areas, were presented in the 3 days event.
